Terms of service

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Tyke-ies website and to purchases made through our online store.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

1. About Us

This website is operated by TYKE-IES LTD, trading as Tyke-ies (“Tyke-ies”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Our company details are:

TYKE-IES LTD
Trading as Tyke-ies

Covent Garden
London
WC2H 9JQ
United Kingdom

Company number: 15210838

Registered in: England and Wales

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform through which we sell our products.

2. These Terms

By using our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms together with any policies referred to in them.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or place an order through it.

3. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • use our website in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or accounts;
  • introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology;
  • interfere with the security or proper operation of our website;
  • use automated systems to scrape or collect information from our website without our permission;
  • use our website to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another person; or
  • provide false or misleading information.

We may restrict or suspend access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers, systems or legal rights.

4. Products and Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and other factors.

Product packaging, labels or minor design details may occasionally change without materially affecting the product.

All products are subject to availability.

We may change or discontinue products from time to time. Changes will not affect orders we have already accepted unless we agree otherwise with you or a change is required by law.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet requirements imposed by consumer law.

5. Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed on our website in the currency applicable to the market in which you are shopping.

Any applicable taxes will be handled as required by law and reflected through our store or checkout where applicable.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your order.

We may change our prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

If an obvious pricing or product-information error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the affected order. If we cannot fulfil the order at the correct price or on the correct terms, we may cancel it and refund any amount you have paid.

6. Placing and Accepting Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your order.

After you place an order, we may send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We may refuse or cancel an order where there is a reasonable reason to do so, including where:

  • a product is unavailable;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
  • an order appears to be intended for unauthorised resale; or
  • we are unable to fulfil the order because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled products and any applicable delivery charge.

7. Delivery

Orders are dispatched from our UK stock using the delivery services available through our store.

Our standard UK delivery arrangements are:

  • Orders over £15 — FREE UK delivery
  • Orders of £15 or less — £4.99 UK delivery
  • Estimated standard delivery time — 2–4 business days
  • Tracking provided

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1 business day.

Other delivery services may be available at checkout. The available options, prices and estimated delivery times will be shown before you place your order.

Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Delays may occasionally occur because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, strikes or unusually high seasonal demand.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights concerning delivery.

For further information, please see our Shipping Policy.

8. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.

For most goods purchased online by UK consumers, you may notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.

After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

To exercise your cancellation right, contact us at contact@tyke-ies.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel your purchase.

You do not need to give a reason for cancelling.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods together with the cost of our least expensive standard delivery service, where applicable.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above our standard delivery cost.

You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where you are cancelling because you have changed your mind, provided this has been communicated to you as required by law.

We may make a deduction from the refund where permitted by law if the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Certain products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where an applicable legal exception applies, including certain sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

These exceptions do not remove your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

9. Our 30-Day Return Policy

In addition to any statutory rights you may have, Tyke-ies offers a 30-day return policy, subject to the conditions stated in our Return and Refund Policy.

Our voluntary return policy does not replace or reduce your statutory consumer rights.

For information about eligibility, how to start a return, return costs and refunds, please see our Return and Refund Policy.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We want the products you receive to meet the standards required by law.

If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at contact@tyke-ies.com.

We may ask you to provide photographs or other reasonable information so that we can assess the issue.

Where a product does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, you may be entitled to remedies including a refund, repair or replacement depending on the circumstances and when the problem is reported.

Where we reasonably require a faulty or incorrect product to be returned, we will bear reasonable return costs where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms or our Return and Refund Policy limits your statutory rights.

11. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we will normally issue it to the original payment method.

The timing of refunds may depend on the reason for the refund and applicable law.

For statutory cancellation of an online order, we will issue the refund within the period required by law. Where goods are being returned, we may wait until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund in your account after we have processed it.

Please see our Return and Refund Policy for further information.

12. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional prices, discount codes, bundles or other offers.

Additional conditions may apply to individual promotions and will be communicated with the relevant offer.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions:

  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • may be subject to availability;
  • may have an expiry date; and
  • may not be combined with other promotions.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, but doing so will not affect orders already accepted under that promotion.

Products purchased during a sale or promotion retain all applicable statutory consumer rights.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website, including our brand name, logos, product names, photographs, graphics, text, product descriptions and website content, belongs to TYKE-IES LTD or is used by us with permission.

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise use our intellectual property without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Reviews, Comments and Other Content

If you submit a review, comment, photograph or other content to us or through our website, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, obscene, infringes another person's rights or contains malicious software.

Where you submit content for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with operating and promoting Tyke-ies, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may moderate or remove user-submitted content where we reasonably consider it unlawful, inappropriate, misleading or in breach of these Terms.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to or integrations with services operated by third parties.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Our Responsibility to You

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill where the law requires us to be responsible.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for losses caused solely by circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Products sold through our consumer store are intended primarily for personal and domestic use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, such as loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control where the law permits this.

These may include disruption to postal or courier services, severe weather, natural disasters, industrial action, telecommunications failures or other events that we could not reasonably prevent.

If such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and communicate with you where appropriate.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

18. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is also subject to the privacy and cookie controls provided through our website.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services or legal obligations.

The version applicable to a purchase will generally be the version in effect when the relevant order was placed.

Changes to these Terms will not retrospectively reduce rights relating to orders already accepted.

The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

20. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws applicable to you that cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring proceedings in a court where applicable consumer law gives you that right.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

The affected provision will apply only to the extent that it can lawfully be enforced.
