THE SHIN GUARD BRIEFING: IMPACT DEFENSE & ANATOMICAL FIT

THE SCIENCE OF SHIN PROTECTION
In combat sports, your shins are both your primary shield and your most frequent point of contact. Standard padding isn't enough; you need Impact Distribution Technology. At Tyke-ies, we design our shin guards to neutralize force before it reaches the bone. Whether you are checking a low kick or landing a heavy strike, our gear is engineered to stay locked in place, providing a seamless transition from foot to knee.

WHY THE TYKE-IES STANDARD MATTERS
- Kinetic Absorption: Multi-layered padding designed to dissipate high-velocity impact.
- Anatomical Contouring: Pre-curved designs that wrap the shin for a zero-shift fit during explosive movement.
- Signature Durability: Utilizing reinforced materials that withstand the friction of daily sparring without degrading.
- Tactical Mobility: Lightweight construction that ensures maximum protection doesn't come at the cost of your speed or agility.
FINDING YOUR SIZE: THE TYKE-IES PRECISION CHART
A shin guard that shifts during combat is a liability. To find your ideal fit, measure the distance from the base of your knee to the top of your ankle.

THE SECURE-LOCK CHECKLIST
Before you step onto the mats, ensure your gear meets these three performance standards:
- The Knee Alignment: The top of the guard should sit just below the kneecap. It should protect the shin without obstructing joint flexion.
- The Instep Coverage: The foot protector should cover the bridge of your foot comfortably, allowing for full ankle extension during kicks.
- The Dual-Strap Tension: Our hook-and-loop closure systems are designed for a "second-skin" feel. If there is daylight between the guard and your shin, tighten the straps or move down a size.
TRAIN WITHOUT LIMITS
Your gear should be the last thing on your mind during a round. By choosing Tyke-ies, you are investing in the resilience needed to outstrike and outlast the competition.
